Marcus Aurelius
Meditations 7.53
Where any work can be done conformably to the reason which is common to gods and men, there we have nothing to fear; for where we are able to get profit by means of the activity which is successful and proceeds according to our constitution, there no harm is to be suspected.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations 7.53, translated by George Long
A work that can be accomplished in obedience to that reason which we share with the Gods is attended with no fear. For no harm need be anticipated, where by an activity that follows the right road, and satisfies the demands of our constitution, we can ensure our own weal.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations 7.53, translated by C. R. Haines
